We've been going to a lot of estate sales lately, mostly searching for camping/hiking gear and bicycles for each of us. Haven't found any of that yet, but I did buy this little Fire-Kingesque apple jar for 1/2 off. The original price was $4. I put my (seldom used) fleur de sel in it.
We probably (edit: definitely) bought more than we should have. The sellers were mostly focused on the antiques, so we were given very good prices on all of the "junk" in the garage. We ended up with several old fruit crates, about 20 super tiny jars, larger jars of all shapes and colors, a huge pile of t-shirts, a few galvanized tubs (to use as planters), a little box full of vintage patches, a shoebox full of old photos and some other things that I can't seem to remember at the moment.
