I have some food posts that I don't have time for today, but I wanted to stop for a second and say how wonderful it is that Will Allen of Growing Power has received a $500,000 genius grant from the MacArthur Foundation. Will and his daughter were featured in the documentary, Food Fight, that Mason and I saw at AFI Dallas in April. As someone who is very interested in food, fairness and sustainability, there aren't many organizations that I think deserve this as much as Growing Power.
There is also a short Q&A with Alice Waters in the Times today.
And can we please have a moment of silence for Scrabulous. So depressing.
