In an attempt to be more self sufficient and to eat more "whole" foods, we made our own granola on Tuesday. We modified
this recipe (from
one of my favorite food blogs) to use what we had on hand. I think that we'll add more honey next time, but it was pretty tasty.

aw thanks for the props! i love that granola and use whatever i've got in my cupboards. i don't like my granola too sweet but you can always pump up the sugar/honey/molasses to get the flavour you want.
Actually, I should be thanking you--as much as I reference your recipe index! Really, I think it's just that we're used to the bulk "granola" that is super, super sweet. We added a little orange juice to the second batch for a little extra sweetness without going totally sugar crazy.
