McLibel
Last night, Mason and I finally watched McLibel, the story of two British activists who were sued for libel by McDonald's after refusing to apologize for their involvement in a grassroots campaign against the company. I highly recommend it to anyone who 1. hates McDonalds (or multi-national corporations, in general) and/or 2. is depressed about the state of society and feels that it is impossible for a difference to be made on an individual level. If you'd rather read about the case, McSpotlight has an overview and all of the court transcripts. You can also download the original pamphlet, which promotes a vegan diet, here.
