Pancake Help!

What's your favorite fluffy pancake recipe? Mason has the thin pancakes down, but we haven't found the perfect fluffy recipe yet. These were made with a recipe from recipezaar, but they were only ok. They were excellent in the fluffiness department, but had no flavor and the white flour made them a little glue-y texture wise. If I can remember which recipe I used, I'm going to try to make them again with whole wheat flour and maybe some cinnamon and agave. While I'm asking, what is your favorite vegan pancake recipe in general? Along with pizza, stir-fries and scrambles, pancakes are one of the most popular meals around our house.

On friday, I wrote something about pancakes on my blog. The recipe I used is perfectly fluffy. The link is included in the post.

I love love love the Vegan with a Vengeance pancake recipe. It's super easy, and super tasty (especially if you toss in some chocolate chips). And everyone I've ever made those pancakes for has adored them. The key to the fluffiness though (I read this somewhere) is allowing them to poof up while they cook without pressing them back flat with your spatula. But yeah, if you have that cookbook, definitely try that one. You will dig.

Ah, I new that I saw pancakes in my feed recently, but I couldn't remember which blog it was. I'll definitely try yours!

I don't know why I don't own Vegan with a Vengeace, but it's about time I just went out and bought it. What is wrong with me? Seriously, why does it take me two years--and ten billion recommendations--to force myself to spend, what, like $15 dollars?

i meant to leave this comment the other day and got totally sidetracked - sorry! it's rare that dan & i make pancakes because i really suck at making pancakes. it's almost guaranteed they're going to stick to the pan and then i'm going to be sadfaced in the morning - instead of being happyfaced about pancakes. BUT - we've always had some great success, and fairly fluffy pancakes with monica's recipe for peanut butter, chocolate, and banana pancakes - so you might want to give them a shot. they're pretty fluffy and pretty damn awesome, indeed!

I also love the VWaV pancake recipe - I have made some wholesome fat free pancakes and blogged about them. Good luck pancake hunting. Let us know how you go (The hunt for the perfect pancake never ends!!)

I use Julie's over at Everydaydish.tv. I just increase the milk and leave out the orange juice. They are super fluffy and delicious
