Cocoa Apple Cake

While Mas was taking his after work nap last night, I decided to try another Iron Chef: VegWeb recipe. There was no photo of the Cocoa Apple Cake on the blog, but the ingredients (apples! chocolate chips! cinnamon!) were enough to convince me. That, and I wanted to try out my new bundt pan. At first bite, I thought that this recipe was a total dud. I've always been too impatient to let things cool before I shove them into my mouth, but I learned my lesson this time. Once it cools completely and sets up a little, this cake is delicious! It's like a giant apple brownie--and there's nothing wrong with that.
